Chicken Salad Chick Opens New Plant City Location, Offering Free Chicken Salad for a Year
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant, is set to open its newest location in Plant City, Florida, at 2304 James L Redman Parkway in the Walden Woods Shopping Center.
The grand opening on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, promises a festive celebration with free chicken salad for a year for the first 100 guests in line.
Chicken Salad Chick Expands with 310th Location
This expansion strengthens the brand’s footprint in Florida, bringing its signature Southern hospitality and made-from-scratch chicken salads to the vibrant Plant City community.
Grand Opening Week Specials and Giveaways
The Plant City restaurant will kick off with a week of exciting promotions to welcome the community. Here’s what’s in store from September 16 to September 20, 2025:
- Tuesday, September 16: The first guest in line at 10:30 AM wins one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for a year. The next 99 guests receive one large Quick Chick per month for a year. Guests must download the Chicken Salad Chick app and stay in line to secure their spot.
- Wednesday, September 17: The first 100 guests purchasing a Chick Trio get a free large Quick Chick on their next visit.
- Thursday, September 18: The first 50 guests buying a Chick Trio receive a free Chicken Salad Chick tote bag.
- Friday, September 19: The first 50 guests purchasing two large Quick Chicks get a free large Chick Cooler. After that, additional guests buying two large Quick Chicks receive a free large Quick Chick.
- Saturday, September 20: The first 50 guests with a purchase of $25 or more receive a free 40oz Chick Tumbler with lid and straw.
Note: All promotions require downloading the Chicken Salad Chick app, being 16 or older, and making qualifying purchases in-restaurant. Rewards are limited to one per guest and not valid with other offers.
Meet the Owners: Brad and Tammy Cochran
The Plant City location is owned by Brad and Tammy Cochran, a husband-and-wife team with deep ties to the Tampa Bay area. Their journey with Chicken Salad Chick began in 2007 at a baby shower where they tasted founder Stacy Brown’s signature chicken salad. Now, nearly 18 years later, the Cochrans are seasoned franchisees operating six locations, including Brandon, East Fowler, Lutz, South Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and now Plant City.
